Hello! It's nice to meet you.

I always wanted to be a therapist because I believe in the value of learning about oneself both as an individual and as a member of a community in order to overcome obstacles of life and truly thrive. My journey started in college where I fell in love with the field of psychology as I earned my Bachelors Degree in General Psychology. From there I continued to pursue my passion by getting my Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. I have lived and worked in the Silicon Valley for the past 5 years, working primarily with at risk youth and their families. I am thrilled to return to the Monterey Peninsula, where I was born and raised, to continue to pursue my dream.

My approach to therapy is strength based and insight oriented with a touch of humor and whimsy. As your therapist, I will meet you where you are, meaning we start at a place where you feel comfortable. Using a strength-based approach means empowering you to access strengths you already possess, such as resiliency, vigor, and intelligence and using them as building blocks for overcoming obstacles and achieving long term success. My goal is to help you gain some insight around why you are the way that you are and how it impacts various aspects of your life, such as your relationships, career/school life, self-esteem etc. Together, we can examine these patterns and make adjustments in order to improve your functioning and ultimately enhance your quality of life. I have experience working with individuals dealing with a variety of struggles including but not limited to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship stress, and substance use.

I am looking forward to meeting you!
